Hackeriet is a member-owned non-profit association. The association exists to provide a space where people can explore technology, create, learn and collaborate.
Membership is defined by the bylaws.
As stated in the bylaws:
“Alle som støtter foreningens formål og betaler medlemskontingent kan være medlem.”
Anyone who supports the purpose of the association and pays the membership dues can be a member.
Membership is established by paying the membership dues.
Running an organisation like this in Oslo requires stable funding. Membership dues are the primary source of income.

Hackeriet is a member-driven organisation. Activity is created by members.
You do not need to be a member to visit Hackeriet.
We have open days (typically Tuesdays and Saturdays) where anyone can drop by.
Membership does not automatically grant physical or logical access to the space.
Access is handled separately and is administered by the board.
