====== Årsmøte ======

This page provides general information about Hackeriet’s annual meeting. Årsmøtet is the highest authority in the organization and is normally held in April.

**Key Points:**
  * **Timing:** Årsmøtet takes place once a year, typically in April.
  * **Notice:** The board (styret) must announce the meeting at least one month in advance. The final agenda must be available one week before the meeting.
  * **Participation:** All members can attend, have voting rights, and may submit proposals for discussion.
  * **Agenda & Proposals:** Formal items include:
    - Approval of the financial statements
    - Discussion of any bylaw or membership fee changes
    - Elections for new board members
    - Presentation of the budget
    - Any other proposals submitted at least two weeks prior
  * **Decision-making:** Most resolutions require a simple majority. Amendments to the bylaws need a 2/3 majority.
  * **Extraordinary Årsmøter:** May be called if demanded by the board, by at least 1/10 of voting members, or by the auditor.
